This is an activity continuing the journey of gratitude and deep thanks from generations working in the Cultural sector today to the local people who have helped the cultural and information work team from the war years until today.
Offering incense at President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House (ATK Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen), Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy and members of the delegation respectfully commemorated his great contributions to the Vietnamese people.
“We pray to you to always strive, unite under your leadership, contribute our small efforts to the cause of building and developing the country in the new era, take care of the work of preserving and promoting culture, taking care of the spiritual life of the people, building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity, so that culture can light the way for the nation as Uncle Ho once advised,” Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy emotionally expressed.
The delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism led by Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy also visited and offered flowers at the historical site of Nha Thong Tin (Minh Thanh commune, Tuyen Quang province), the predecessor of today's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy and the delegation attended the meeting and presented gifts to 20 families with meritorious services to the revolution.
This is also an activity of gratitude, through small but meaningful gifts, the delegation wishes to express deep gratitude to local people.
Speaking at the program, Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy expressed her emotion and pride when visiting and offering incense at the Nha Thong Tin relic, where 80 years ago, Uncle Ho and the Government established a base in Tuyen Quang and neighboring areas to carry out the revolution to gain independence and freedom for the nation.
Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy and other members of the delegation reviewed the glorious 80-year tradition of the former Culture and Information sector and now the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.
Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy said that the long-term resistance war led by the Party and Government was a great success. That process had valuable contributions from the Culture and Information sector.
To achieve that result, the following generations are extremely grateful for the blood sacrifices and the protection and care of the ethnic people of Tuyen Quang province in general, the revolutionary war zone of Tan Trao and Minh Thanh commune in particular, for the former officers of the Department of Culture and Information and the support for the implementation of the tasks of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the current period.
According to Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is coordinating with localities to implement professional and political tasks, hoping that ethnic people will support and enthusiastically participate in building a cultural life at the grassroots level in accordance with the motto of "people are the masters, people are the root".
Previously, ethnic people protected and sheltered the officers of the Department of Culture and Information, and now they continue to support and accompany the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in all activities, especially in building cultural life at the grassroots level, building new rural areas, and preserving a green - clean - beautiful environment.
Promoting the fine traditions of the revolutionary homeland and the revolutionary base so that in the coming time, each family will be a fortress and each village will be a solid pillar in building and developing culture.
At the meeting, 85-year-old Mrs. Duong Thi Dinh was moved to receive the attention of the working delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and said that the revolutionary tradition has always been preserved and promoted by local families to join hands in building the country to be more prosperous and better.
Living in a revolutionary land, the older generations in the family always educate their children and grandchildren about the revolutionary traditions of their homeland and remind them to obey the law and contribute to building their homeland to become stronger and richer.
Also within the framework of the "return to the source" program, the delegation offered incense at the Memorial House of General Vo Nguyen Giap at Pu Don relic (ATK Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen); Hong Thai Communal House (Tan Trao, Tuyen Quang).
