Need to stop the problem of fake "doctors"

What would happen if the sick people who were in pain and hoped to be cured encountered inhumane people disguised as doctors? Losing money is one thing, but losing faith in social order is the most worrying thing. This extremely serious incident just happened in the city known as the most “livable” in the country - Da Nang City.

Information from the City Police Investigation Agency said that this agency has just prosecuted the case and prosecuted 7 subjects who are human resource managers and employees at the Da Nang International General Clinic at 180 Tran Phu Street for the act of "Deceiving customers". The subjects' method was to establish the Da Nang International General Clinic with the legal entity of Da Nang International General Hospital Joint Stock Company, then recruit a group of fake "doctors" to perform medical procedures related to andrological and gynecological diseases. The clinic directed its staff to provide incorrect information about each step of the procedure to increase the price of service packages much higher than the actual price. During the procedure, the staff here often tried to cause pain or confusion so that customers would switch to the service package with the highest price, even up to 30 million VND. Initially, the investigation agency determined that the company had illegally profited 376 million VND from 17 customers.

This incident recalls the counterfeiting that occurred in Thanh Hoa province.

Five months ago, the provincial police coordinated with the Department of Health to clarify many tricks to deceive patients at a number of disguised medical examination and treatment facilities. In particular, the Incheon Healthcare facility at 15 Nguyen Can Street, Dien Bien Ward, old Thanh Hoa City, although not licensed to operate in the field related to medical examination and treatment, at the time of inspection, it was discovered that 5 patients were being examined and consulted for treatment of bone and joint diseases and sinusitis. The facility was assigned to Nguyen Xuan Cuong - a bachelor of culture, but claimed to be a doctor working at a large hospital in Hanoi to manage and examine patients. In addition, there were 2 other people who were not doctors but claimed to be masters and doctors working at large hospitals in Hanoi. Of the 6 technical staff performing treatment for patients, most had no medical expertise. Similarly, at EMC Healthcare located at 04 Bui Khac Nhat Street, old Dong Huong Ward, there were also medical examination and treatment activities that were contrary to the business registration license. Here, 3 employees only had a 12th grade education and a bachelor's degree in nursing, but claimed to be doctors working at a large hospital in Hanoi to attract customers.

The situation of fake "doctors" is currently appearing in many provinces and cities across the country, causing many hospitals to have to send out messages advising people to be vigilant.

After these consecutive incidents, the pharmaceutical management agency and local authorities must take more drastic action, and cannot let patients become easy prey for inhumane people. Because, when fake “doctors” still exist, it is very difficult for patients to escape the “matrix” that the subjects have created. Trust in the management agency is also at risk of plummeting.
