Accommodation facilities have prepared conditions to serve the needs of tourists.

In the first months of 2025, the tourism industry in Ba Thuoc district has seen many improvements. As of April 20, the district welcomed about 120,000 visitors, of which more than 26,000 were international visitors. According to the district's forecast, the number of tourists visiting and experiencing during the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year will increase compared to normal days. In order to prepare well for the conditions to serve the needs of tourists, Ba Thuoc district has directed localities with tourist spots, areas, and tourism service businesses to strengthen inspection and supervision of the organization of tourism activities; food safety and hygiene and price posting, ensuring quality and quantity, and not arbitrarily raising prices. At the same time, it has directed Thanh Lam, Thanh Son, and Co Lung communes to create a green, clean, and beautiful environment to welcome tourists.

Coming to tourist destinations in the West of Thanh Hoa, visitors will be immersed in the cultural space of ethnic minorities.

Thanh Son commune currently has 32 resorts and homestays serving tourists. To serve the needs of tourists during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the commune has directed villages to strengthen propaganda and mobilization to raise awareness among business households to ensure safety for tourists. Organize service businesses to sign commitments to ensure food hygiene and safety; arrange for waste collection and treatment according to regulations.

Mr. Ha Van Uan, the owner of a community tourism household in Bang village, said: "Compared to last year, this year the number of visitors is forecast to be quite large. To better serve the needs of visitors, the family focuses on creating a green, clean landscape and environment; rebuilding the dining room and accommodation; focusing on fire prevention and fighting; preparing quality food sources...".

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Chairman of Thanh Son Commune People's Committee, said: From the beginning of 2025 until now, Thanh Son commune has attracted nearly 10,000 visitors to visit and experience. Tourism development has created jobs for about 300 local workers with an income of 4 to 5 million VND/person/month. In order to best serve the needs of tourists when coming to Thanh Son, the commune has directed villages to mobilize and propagate accommodation establishments and restaurants to mobilize maximum human resources and facilities to welcome guests. Strengthen inspection of food hygiene and safety at restaurants and accommodation establishments, to prevent the sale and use of poor quality food.

According to information from the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Ba Thuoc district, there are more than 100 community tourism accommodation establishments in the district. During the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year, Ba Thuoc district is expected to welcome more than 60,000 visitors to visit and relax at Pu Luong tourist area and neighboring locations. Up to this point, the room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments has reached more than 90%.

In Thuong Xuan district, it is expected that during this holiday, about 15,500 visitors will come to visit and experience tourist areas and spots, with a total revenue of nearly 5.4 billion VND. To achieve the set goal, Thuong Xuan district has directed communes, towns, and functional forces to strengthen propaganda work for resorts and homestays to strictly comply with regulations on food safety and hygiene; fire prevention and fighting. Focus on ensuring security and order, organizing traffic flow to avoid congestion, creating favorable conditions for tourists to access tourist areas and spots.

Mr. Le Huu Giap, Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Thuong Xuan district, said: The tourist attractions of Thuong Xuan district are increasingly attracting tourists to visit and experience. During the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year, the number of visitors to tourist attractions will increase. The district has directed the local government to have tourist areas and spots, and plans to serve them best. Thereby, contributing significantly to attracting tourists to Thuong Xuan.

Along with Ba Thuoc and Thuong Xuan, districts with tourist areas and spots, homestay businesses have directed communes and towns to step up propaganda and mobilization work to raise people's awareness in maintaining security and order, safety of life and property of tourists, and not arbitrarily raising room rates and tourism service activities.

Currently, mountainous districts with tourist areas, spots, and homestays have completed decoration, built many miniature landscapes, prepared facilities; have plans to promote cultural and artistic exchange activities; and increased promotion on mass media to attract tourists to visit and experience.

Tourist attractions in Ba Thuoc district attract a large number of tourists to visit and experience.

With the close participation of the Party Committee and the government, and the careful preparation of tourist areas and spots, we believe that tourists will have attractive and interesting experiences in many districts in the West of Thanh Hoa. Thereby, contributing to creating a beautiful image in the hearts of tourists, promoting the tourism of Thanh Hoa province to develop more and more sustainably.
