Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security encouraged the working group of the Ministry of Public Security before leaving for Myanmar to carry out rescue work.
On April 14, General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security of Vietnam and Mr. Wang Tuong Hy, Minister of Emergency Management and Response of China signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue.
The Memorandum of Understanding includes an Introduction and 10 Articles on cooperation in state management of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue; training and improving the quality of human resources for fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue; scientific research and application of technological achievements to contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding is an important legal basis for the two sides to carry out cooperation activities in the field of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue, contributing to maintaining social order and safety, and socio-economic development of the two countries; further strengthening the relationship between the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Emergency Management of China in particular and the relationship between the two countries in general.
At the same time, this is also a step to concretize the cooperation policy between the two sides in the pillar of defense and security cooperation in the spirit of the Joint Statement between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the People's Republic of China on further strengthening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, promoting the building of a community of shared future between Vietnam and China...
