Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the Ministry of Justice , there were comrade Nguyen Hai Ninh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Justice; Nguyen Thanh Ngoc - Deputy Minister of Justice, Head of the Organizing Committee of the first National Press Award on the Justice Sector and the contest "Learning about the Ministry and the Justice Sector".
Also attending were Mr. Nguyen Khanh Ngoc - President of the Vietnam Lawyers Association; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Tuan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine, Member of the Central Theoretical Council, President of the Vietnam Publishing Association; Professor, Dr. Le Hong Hanh - President of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center; and representatives of central and local ministries, departments, and branches.

The first National Press Award on the Judiciary was launched in November 2024. Although it was the first year of organization, the award received strong response from central and local press agencies. In particular, the organizing committee received 258 works from 35 press agencies.
After the preliminary round, the organizing committee selected 60 works for the final round and selected 18 excellent works to award prizes, including 2 A Prizes; 2 B Prizes; 4 C Prizes and 10 Encouragement Prizes.
Special issue 5: Digital transformation promotes judicial reform by the group of authors: Chu Thi Khanh Ly, Nguyen Tien Dong, Dang Ngoc Cuong (Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television) won the Encouragement Prize.

According to the organizers' assessment, the award has created a vibrant and comprehensive communication activity about the role, position and remarkable contributions of the Ministry of Justice to the cause of building a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam, especially in the context that the Ministry and the branch have been assigned many new tasks by the Party and Government to serve the cause of building and perfecting the law as the foundation for building a law-abiding society, bringing the country into a new era, the era of national growth.

The award-winning works have diverse content, comprehensively reflecting the important role, position and contributions of the Judiciary sector in the cause of national construction and development, especially the sector's mark in the work of perfecting institutions and laws, especially Resolution 66 of 2025 of the Politburo.
At the same time, promptly commend good models and practices in judicial and legal work; exemplary individuals, silent contributions and contributions that leave strong impressions of those working in judicial and legal work across the country, especially judicial and legal work at the grassroots level...

The first National Press Award on the Judiciary created a strong and practical communication campaign to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Judiciary's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025). The activities of the Ministry and the Judiciary reflected through the entries showed that the management areas of the Ministry of Justice have been "close to the people", effectively serving the people and making truly effective contributions to the building of a "service-oriented administration".
In particular, the entries show the efforts, perseverance and determination of the Ministry of Justice in its role as an advisor and "gatekeeper" for the Party, Government and National Assembly in the process of perfecting institutions, building and enforcing laws, building a "law-abiding" society, living and working according to the Constitution and laws.
For the online contest "Learn about the Ministry of Justice", after nearly 2 months of implementation, it attracted 120,102 of 69,324 contestants. Of which, 4,529 were from judicial officials and civil servants at all levels. The number of contestants who answered correctly the 19 multiple choice questions of the Organizing Committee was 1,068 people with 6,926 correct answers.
