An Giang trains national defense and security education for cadres and teachers

From August 19 to 22, training classes will take place by grade level.

On August 19, the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province held the opening ceremony of the training conference for teachers of National Defense and Security Education at high schools; integrating national defense and security education content in primary and secondary schools in 2025.

Accordingly, on August 19 and 20, the training class (each class/grade/day) will teach integrated national defense and security content for management officials, professional officers of primary schools, and secondary school professionals in communes and wards of special zones in the whole province on integrated teaching methods in the subjects: Vietnamese, Nature and Society, History and Geography, Art, Ethics (for primary school); Literature, Civic Education, History and Geography, Art (for secondary school).

On August 21 and 22, the training course was for teachers of National Defense and Security Education at high schools through the following topics: Organization and teaching methods for practical lessons on the Regulations. Methods for compiling lesson plans; compiling test matrices; organizing tests and evaluating the results of the National Defense and Security Education subject for high school students. At the same time, the content of the revision of the National Defense and Security Education textbooks was introduced when arranging the organization of the political system and the organization of the two-level local government.

The training courses aim to foster and improve the capacity of the management staff and teachers of the subject of National Defense and Security Education in terms of content, organization, teaching methods, practice and integration of National Defense and Security Education content. At the same time, update new content related to the content and curriculum of National Defense and Security Education textbooks in the innovation, arrangement and organization of the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently and organize 2-level local government.

Thereby, creating conditions for the management staff and teachers to exchange experiences to improve management capacity, teaching quality of the subject of National Defense and Security Education and integrating the content of National Defense and Security Education in primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools to meet the 2018 General Education Program and implement the 2-level local government model.
