Tongyi Qianwen 2.0 “demonstrated superior performance in understanding complex instructions, writing copy, reasoning, memorizing, and preventing hallucinations,” Alibaba said in a press release. Hallucinations here mean that the AI ​​presents inaccurate information.

Additionally, Alibaba also releases AI models designed for applications in specific industries and uses such as legal and financial advice, as it targets businesses.

Alibaba also announced the GenAI “Service Platform,” which allows companies to build generative AI applications using their own data. This is seen as a solution to concerns about data from publicly innovative AI products being accessible to third parties.
