Yen Bai: Brand and value positioning journey

In recent years, Yen Bai province has issued many support mechanisms to encourage enterprises to develop their brands. Thanks to that, many units have built their reputation, gradually approaching large markets and developing sustainably. One of the typical enterprises is Nasaki Colored Tile Vietnam Co., Ltd. Since 2018, the Company has invested in a system of factories, modern production lines and applied advanced Japanese wet pressing technology to the production of unburnt tiles.


This is a breakthrough, replacing the traditional firing method with an environmentally friendly process - using raw materials from cement, clean sand, stone powder, no burning, saving water and reducing carbon emissions. From an output of 2 million tiles in 2018, it has now reached 5.5 million tiles/year with many product lines such as: large wave tiles, small wave tiles, flat tiles, terrazzo tiles... with more than 1,000 colors suitable for many Asian - European architectural styles, classic and modern.

Currently, the Company has built a widespread distribution system throughout the North and begun to penetrate international markets such as Cambodia, Malaysia, Japan, Oceania and the EU. The Company's products are used in many large projects of corporations such as Vingroup, TNR, Viettel and have won the "National Outstanding Rural Industrial Product" Award.

Another typical enterprise is The Gia Traditional Medicine and Oriental Medicine Production Company Limited. With the desire to preserve the quintessence of traditional medicine and apply modern technology, in 2017, the Company was established in Son Thinh town, Van Chan district with 5 modern production lines. The Gia especially focuses on exploiting the potential of indigenous medicinal herbs, especially hawthorn fruit - a specialty of the Yen Bai highlands.


Products such as Shan Thinh Hawthorn Tea, Docya Jelly, Quoc Co Massage Oil and Spray... are deeply processed from selected ingredients. Up to now, the Company has had 5 products achieving 4-star OCOP certification. With a creative market approach strategy, in 2024, The Gia launched the product "DOCYA Hawthorn Juice with Fruit Jelly", a combination of juice and fruit jelly, targeting young consumers.


Upon its launch, the brand became a young talent sponsor of the HOZO Inspiration Contest - a large-scale music event in Ho Chi Minh City. The company also signed a distribution contract with Hai Ha Confectionery Joint Stock Company to bring its products to the southern provinces.
