University admission: Ministry of Education and Training extends first admission period by 3 days

The Ministry of Education and Training announced that it will continue to open the System to facilitate candidates to complete admission confirmation procedures before 5:00 p.m. on August 31.

A representative of the Ministry of Education and Training has just announced that the first admission confirmation system for 2024 will continue to be opened to facilitate candidates who have not completed it for objective reasons.

Specifically, according to the 2024 Enrollment Plan, the deadline for candidates to confirm enrollment on the General Enrollment Support System is 5:00 p.m. on August 27.

However, through feedback from training institutions and candidates, there are currently some candidates who, when enrolling directly at the school, discovered that they had not confirmed their enrollment on the System.

To facilitate candidates, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that the System will continue to be open for candidates to complete admission confirmation procedures before 5:00 p.m. on August 31.

According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training on the evening of July 28, at the end of the first round of online registration on the General Admission System, 551,479 candidates confirmed their enrollment out of a total of 673,586 admitted candidates, reaching 81.87%. Thus, there were 122,107 admitted candidates who did not enroll.

Compared to 2023, the number of admitted candidates and the enrollment rate both increased. Specifically, in 2023, there were 615,470 admitted candidates and 494,488 confirmed enrollment candidates, reaching 80.34%.

Many universities have announced additional admissions for thousands of students using different admission methods. This is an opportunity for candidates who were not admitted in the first round.
