The Plan for Implementation of the Digital Transformation Strategy for the Press to 2025, with a vision to 2030 in Binh Thuan Province, recently issued by the Provincial People's Committee, has determined: Digital transformation of the press aims to build press agencies in a professional, humane, and modern direction; to fulfill the mission of information and propaganda to serve the revolutionary cause of the Party and the cause of national innovation. At the same time, to ensure the role of leading and orienting public opinion, maintaining information sovereignty in cyberspace; creating new sources of revenue; promoting the development of the digital content industry.

To achieve the above goal, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh assigned the Department of Information and Communications to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities according to their authority to comment on legal documents promoting digital transformation of the press and to comment on and develop related legal documents. At the same time, deploy national digital platforms for local press agencies. Take the lead in promoting the development of digital platforms to support press agencies in digital transformation, develop digital press products; deploy solutions to support press agencies in promoting digital transformation.
