Verifying information about teacher going to student's house and slapping him repeatedly in the face

On August 13, the People's Committee of Vinh Loc Commune (Thanh Hoa) said that it had received information about a video clip shared on social media recording a man riding a motorbike to a resident's house and then repeatedly slapping a teenager in the face.

According to information shared on social networks, the incident occurred in Vinh Loc town, former Vinh Loc district (now Vinh Loc commune, Thanh Hoa province).

The man in the clip is a teacher currently working at Vinh Loc High School, and the male student who was beaten is studying at Vinh Loc Middle School.

The clip shows that the incident occurred at 9:33 a.m. on August 8, 2025. At that time, the man drove his motorbike to a house, then repeatedly slapped a male student in the face.

According to initial information, the cause of the incident was because the student said bad things about the teacher, causing the teacher to be upset and go to the house and act as shown in the video clip.

In a quick discussion about this matter, a representative of the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province said that they were aware of the incident and were asking Vinh Loc High School to report.
