Specifically, on August 15, Principal of Vinh Loc High School Nguyen Van Tinh said that the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province had directed the school to coordinate with the family to take care of the health of male student NTH - who was slapped by teacher VXT (the school's English teacher), resulting in a perforated eardrum.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, the school has now given Mr. T. leave from his professional work to spend time with his family to take care of H.'s health. The school is also coordinating with the police to clarify the case. Based on the results of the police investigation, the level of health impact on the student and the family's opinion, the school will take action against Mr. T.

Previously, Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio - Television reported that on August 8, 2025, teacher VXT went to the house of student NTH, a 7th grader at Pham Van Hinh Secondary School (Tay Do commune), scolded and slapped this student.

It is known that teacher T. and student H. are related (H.'s father is teacher T.'s uncle). During her studies, student H.'s family asked teacher T. to tutor her from grade 3 until now.

The report of Vinh Loc High School sent to the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa stated that the cause of the incident was that while communicating with friends, H. told them that his cousin (teacher T.) taught in a difficult way (using vulgar language). Angry because H. spoke impolitely, teacher T. went to H.'s house, scolded and slapped H.
