Many majors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education increased their benchmark scores.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, the leader of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education informed that the preliminary virtual filtering results and the standard scores of most majors increased compared to last year.

According to the explanation, the reason is because the number of candidates registering for the school has increased, mainly falling into the first and second choices.

It is known that the English Pedagogy industry is expected to continue to lead in terms of benchmark scores. Engineering and technology industries also have high benchmark scores, with two prominent industries being semiconductors and automation.

Besides, some industries will also have reduced benchmarks.

In 2024, the standard score for the pedagogical majors is above 24 points. The highest standard score for this major is English pedagogy with 27.5 points and is also the major with the highest standard score in the school.

The STEM majors with the highest benchmark scores are control and automation engineering and information technology (Vietnamese system), with benchmark scores of 26.14 points and 25.97 points, respectively.

The school said it will announce the admission scores for full-time university programs in 2025 tomorrow (August 22).
