Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025: Don't think that you have to compete internationally to be successful

On the afternoon of July 28, the organizing committee announced the program Vietnam's Next Top Model season 9 in 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City.

The judges included: model Thanh Hang, designer Do Manh Cuong, creative directors Ha Do and Nam Trung.

Elegant stride

Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 has the theme of Elegant Strides . Ms. Trang Le - general director and producer of Vietnam's Next Top Model - said that elegance is not only shown on the catwalk but also in life attitude, professional qualities, and professional working style.

Ms. Trang Le affirmed that "elegance" is also considered a professional ethic that models participating in the program must have.

"On big catwalks, professional models still fall, but they know how to fall elegantly, how to stand up and continue performing" - the producer of Vietnam's Next Top Model added.

This shows that this year 's Vietnam's Next Top Model emphasizes the ethics, lifestyle and working attitude of models in addition to catwalk skills and charisma in front of the camera.

Model Thanh Hang gave the scoring criteria: 40% potential, qualities; 30% attitude and 30% courage.

“We require contestants to improve their thinking and qualities. Whether a person is successful or not is determined by their attitude. I put attitude above all else. The judges are not family members, so they are not pampered but strict with the smallest things like polite behavior, wanting the contestants to do the best,” Thanh Hang said.

Talking about the program's goal, Ms. Trang Le shared: "If 15 years ago, we were looking for professional models, now the program is looking for top models, new generation vedettes for the Vietnamese fashion industry, ready to confidently walk on the international catwalk."

Shining in the Vietnamese market is already a success

Commenting on the top 15 Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 entering the common house, designer Do Manh Cuong affirmed that they could become new faces for catwalks and brands in Vietnam.

He said Vietnamese models are now taller and more beautiful than before, but to break into the international market requires a lot of effort.

“Vietnamese models stepping onto international catwalks is something to be proud of, but if you shine in the Vietnamese market, this is also a great success. Don’t think that you have to step onto international catwalks to be successful, what matters is what we do and what we contribute to the Vietnamese fashion industry,” Do Manh Cuong emphasized.
