Vietnam won the gold medal in the 2025 World Office Informatics Competition

The Vietnamese team has just won 1 gold medal, 1 bronze medal and all contestants are in the top 10, at the world finals of the 2025 World Office Informatics Championship.

The award ceremony of the 2025 MOS World Championship world finals just took place in Orlando, Florida, USA.

The Vietnamese team won 1 gold medal, 1 bronze medal and all contestants were in the top 10 in the world. Thanks to this result, Vietnam won the overall position of Top 5 strongest MOS teams in the world.

The medal winners are Do Hai Long - student of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, MOS Word 365 Apps; Luong Son Tung - student of Foreign Trade University won the bronze medal, MOS Excel 365 Apps.

Previously, in grade 11, Do Hai Long first participated in the competition and won third prize in the national round in MOS Word 2016. After 4 years of persistent study with a love for MOS and 3 times participating in the competition, Long achieved the highest result.

Sharing his feelings after the award ceremony, Long said that the gold medal he just won was the result of his tireless efforts and also the motivation for him to try harder in the future.

Ms. Doan Nguyen Van Khanh, Executive Director of IIG Vietnam Education Organization, co-organizer of the national competition, said that this year's MOS Vietnam team is very strong, with the best candidates selected from thousands of young IT talents in the country, many of whom have participated in the competition for the second or third time.

Thanks to the accumulated knowledge and experience, along with the review support from the organizing committee before the world finals, the students entered the world finals with confidence, maximizing their abilities when competing with friends from hundreds of countries around the world.

Closing the MOS World Championship 2025 season, the Vietnamese team's record of achievements has been extended and to date, Vietnamese contestants have won 23 world medals, including 5 gold medals, 4 silver medals, 14 bronze medals and many high rankings in the world's top 10.

At the MOS World Championship 2025 finals, the Vietnamese team achieved TOP 5 in the world overall. Specifically:

- Do Hai Long - Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, gold medal in MOS Word 365 Apps content.

- Luong Son Tung - Foreign Trade University, bronze medal in MOS Excel 365 Apps content.

- Vuong Thu Huong - Vietnam Maritime University, Top 5 in the world for MOS Word 2019 content.

- Nguyen Minh Duc - Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Top 7 in the world for MOS PowerPoint content 2019.

- Nghiem Thi My Linh - Vietnam Maritime University, Top 9 in the world for MOS Excel 2019 content.

- Nguyen Thai Son - Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (Ninh Binh), Top 10 in the world for MOS PowerPoint 365 Apps content.
