Sharing this information with Dan Tri reporter, Ms. LUNB (31 years old), an official working at the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine, could not hide her joy.
According to the above decision, Ms. B. will be able to quit her job as she wishes from August 8 - about 3 years and 8 months from the time she submitted her resignation due to family circumstances.
The content of the decision clearly states that the issuance is based on legal regulations, the wishes of Ms. B. (grade 4 medical technician) and the proposal of the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine.
Ms. NB expressed her gratitude to Dr. Ho Van Han (new Director of Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine) for supporting and urging relevant departments to help her quickly resolve her resignation, after a very long waiting period.
“I attended many meetings and met with the Institute’s leaders, and was promised many things but there was no specific time frame for resolution. When the Institute had a new Director, I was laid off. My family and I are very grateful for Dr. Han’s help,” the female medical staff shared.

Ms. NB also sent her deep thanks to Dan Tri newspaper, for accompanying her fiercely throughout the past time, as well as the support of lawyers and other authorities.
“Thanks to the dedicated help of Dan Tri newspaper and my lawyer, I have successfully fought my case. I hope that other medical staff in the same situation as me will devote themselves to their profession and comply with the provisions of the law.
"Respect the law and you will be protected by the law," Ms. B. sent a message.
As reported, since mid-August 2024, Dan Tri newspaper received a complaint from Ms. NB, an official of the Department of Physical Therapy - Rehabilitation, stating that her legitimate resignation application had been "suspended" by the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine for many years, due to the reason of "not being able to find a replacement", causing her life to be severely affected.

In October 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine continued to announce the decision to discipline Ms. B., in the form of forced dismissal. However, in December 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine revoked the above decision.
During the long period of having her resignation "suspended", Ms. B. relied solely on her husband's freelance work (who was also disciplined and forced to quit by the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine) to make a living, as she could not find work elsewhere. In addition, the female medical worker had given birth to two young children, so the family's finances became increasingly difficult.
On June 17, the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health signed a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Ho Van Han (at that time, Chief Inspector of the Department of Health) to hold the position of Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine.
Previously, at the end of November 2024, the Ministry of Public Security 's Security Investigation Agency issued a decision to prosecute and execute a search warrant at the home and workplace of Mr. Huynh Nguyen Loc, former Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine, for the crime of "Receiving bribes".
