On May 8, Ba Den Mountain welcomed thousands of delegates from more than 80 countries and territories for the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival. Many historic ceremonies will be held on this day.

Special ceremonies within the framework of Vesak 2025 held at Ba Den Mountain on May 8 include: The procession and enshrinement of Buddha's relics from the National Museum of India; The planting ceremony of 108 Bodhi trees, each named after a country; The candle-lighting ceremony to pray for world peace .

This will be a series of historical cultural and spiritual activities, a rare opportunity for Buddhists and people to receive blessings from Buddha in the middle of the legendary sacred peak.
