2025 marks an important step forward when the "Save Turtles Run" 2025 adds a semi-professional distance of 21km, in addition to the two traditional distances of 5km and 10km. More than 500 athletes started at dawn, experiencing the pristine beauty of Con Dao when the first rays of the day flickered on the sea.

Notably, runner Kento (Japan) became the first person to cross the finish line in the 21km distance. The athlete was the champion of the 10km distance last year.

According to a representative of Con Dao National Park, 2025 saw a significant increase in the number of turtle eggs - 1.5 times higher than the previous year thanks to effective conservation work and favorable weather.

The race donated 100 million VND to Con Dao National Park for sea turtle conservation. Therefore, the race is not only a sporting event but also a concrete action towards sustainable tourism in one of the pristine seas of Vietnam.
