During the 4th working week (June 17-21, 2024) of the 7th Session, the National Assembly focused on legislative work.

Specifically, the National Assembly discussed the following draft laws: Law on Notarization (amended); Law on Value Added Tax (amended); Law on Trade Unions (amended); Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Pharmacy; Law on Cultural Heritage (amended); Law on Geology and Minerals; Law on Urban and Rural Planning; Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue; Law on People's Air Defense; Law on Juvenile Justice; Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking (amended).

The National Assembly voted to pass: Law on Archives (amended) and Resolution on the establishment of the National Assembly's Thematic Supervision Delegation in 2025.

According to the program, during the working week, the National Assembly also discussed: Investment policy for the North-South Expressway construction investment project in the West, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) section; Adjustment of investment policy for the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030; Hanoi Capital Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; Project to adjust the overall master plan of Hanoi Capital to 2045, with a vision to 2065; Investment policy for the National Target Program on cultural development for the period 2025 - 2035.
