Dr. Nguyen Dang Vu, Executive Committee Member, Deputy Head of the Inspection Board of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association, announced and presented the Decisions of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association on conferring the title of Folk Artist and awarding the Medal for the Cause of Vietnamese Folk Arts to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Cuong (53 years old), Mr. Duong Tan Nguyen (55 years old) and Mr. Nguyen Van Thu (57 years old).
All 3 artisans are dedicated and have excellent achievements in the field of practicing and teaching Bai Choi singing in Tuyet Diem 2 village, Van Tuong commune. Being awarded the title of Vietnamese Folk Artisan and the Commemorative Medal is a recognition, honor, encouragement and motivation for talented artisans to continue their efforts to contribute to preserving, conserving and transmitting the cultural quintessence in the locality.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Folk Arts Association awarded membership cards to 11 members currently active in Quang Ngai province.
