Today, January 12, at Xy commune, Huong Hoa district, Thanh Border Post, Border Guard of Quang Tri province coordinated with Hanoi volunteer group and Dieu Hong volunteer group to present many meaningful gifts to people in the border area.
At the program, many activities took place such as: giving 200 meals; organizing "Zero-VND booths" and giving 200 gifts and 800 banh chung with a total value of 200 million VND to policy households and families with especially difficult circumstances in Xy commune, Huong Hoa district.

Major Nguyen Van Chinh, Political Commissar of Thanh Border Guard Station, said: "With the desire to care for and support families in difficult circumstances to have a fuller and warmer spring, the gifts, although not large, will contribute to bringing joy and happiness to families in difficult circumstances."
This is an activity organized by Thanh Border Guard Station every Tet holiday, expressing the affection, responsibility and gratitude of Border Guard officers and soldiers towards the people in the border area, contributing to building a strong people's border defense and firmly protecting the territorial sovereignty and national border security.
