DTO - On the morning of May 5, the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (CCRC) led by Comrade Nguyen Duc Khai - Member of the Standing Committee, Chief of the Central Office of the Vietnam Red Cross Society visited the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery (My Phu Ward, Cao Lanh City). Attending the ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Huu Thoi - Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society; representatives of the leaders of the Red Cross Society of several provinces and cities across the country and leaders of the Red Cross Society of districts and cities in the province.
The delegation offered wreaths to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the provincial Martyrs Cemetery.
In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Duc Khai - Member of the Standing Committee, Chief of the Central Office of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and delegates respectfully offered wreaths and incense before the National Monument to honor and commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
The delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs.
This is an activity within the series of peak activities of the 2025 National Humanitarian Month in Dong Thap province organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee. Through the activity, we aim to express our deep feelings and gratitude, the tradition of remembering the source of water, and to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.
