National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated: The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, which will open tomorrow morning (May 5), is of special importance in order to promptly institutionalize the policies and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat, especially the contents just approved at the 11th Central Conference.

The National Assembly Chairman mentioned that the focus of the 11th Central Conference is amending and supplementing the Constitution and laws to serve the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, the arrangement of administrative units, and the organization of two-level local governments; thoroughly removing barriers, difficulties, and institutional obstacles to create a legal corridor, creating a foundation for development; clearing bottlenecks, clearing resources; promoting decentralization and delegation of power associated with streamlining the apparatus, creating new development space for localities and the whole country.

The National Assembly Chairman requested that National Assembly deputies study carefully, discuss democratically, and contribute constructive opinions of the highest quality.

"The work of streamlining the political system and reorganizing administrative units is of special importance and historical significance for the country's development. Regarding the work of constitution-making and legislation, the National Assembly Chairman said that the content of amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Constitution this time focuses on about 8/120 articles.
