HCMC: Survey of digital capacity of 100% of education managers and teachers

On September 1, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City sent a document to the head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City and 21 districts; principals of high schools, multi-level general schools in non-public sectors; directors of vocational education and continuing education centers and heads of affiliated units requesting a survey and assessment of the capacity and digital skills of education managers, teachers and staff at educational institutions in the area.

Specifically, the implementation time will start from September 4, 2024. Managers, teachers, and staff will become familiar with the system operations from September 4 to September 8, 2024.

The official survey period is from September 9, 2024 to September 15, 2024. Education administrators, teachers, and staff can only take the survey once.

The survey consists of 50 multiple choice questions to be completed in 50 minutes. The survey content is the knowledge and professional skills needed to use information technology in the process of organizing educational activities.

Specifically, the contents include: Basic knowledge of digital transformation; Digital transformation in education management; Information technology infrastructure; Creative and innovative thinking in digital transformation; Digital platforms in schools.

After completing the survey, based on the number of correct answers, the survey taker is evaluated at the following levels: Not yet qualified; Basic level; Advanced level.

The survey system will issue online Certificates to qualified educational administrators, teachers and staff.

If the survey taker is assessed as “Not qualified”, then register to attend the “Digital transformation in education (basic part)” class.

If the survey taker is assessed as “Basic level”, then register to attend the “Digital transformation in education (advanced part)” class.
