General Secretary To Lam and President of the Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen informed each other about the situation of each Party and each country; discussed the regional and international situation, relations between the two Parties and countries, and a number of issues of mutual concern.
The two leaders also reviewed and evaluated the results of cooperation over the past time and agreed on key directions to further deepen cooperation between the two Parties and two countries in the coming time.
The two leaders expressed their delight at the important results achieved at the high-level meeting between the two Parties and the high-level meeting between the three leaders of the three Parties of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos in February this year.

The two leaders agreed to continue strengthening relations through Party and State channels, consolidating political trust, and increasing the exchange of high-level visits and visits at ministerial, sectoral and local levels.
Vietnam and Cambodia need to promote existing cooperation mechanisms as well as other high-level agreements; continue to share information in a timely manner, consult each other on international and regional issues, and issues related to bilateral relations, contributing to developing the relations between the two Parties and two countries more substantially in the new period, serving the practical interests of the people of the two countries.
In a friendly atmosphere, General Secretary To Lam congratulated Cambodia on its socio-economic achievements in recent years, under the wise leadership of the Cambodian People's Party and the Royal Government of Cambodia, contributing to improving the lives of the Cambodian people; and welcomed the positive progress that Cambodia and Thailand have made regarding border issues between the two countries.
President Hun Sen thanked General Secretary To Lam for his invitation and announced that he would attend the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day, appreciating its profound significance and emphasizing that the 80th anniversary demonstrates the strength of national unity, heroic spirit, and indomitable will of the Vietnamese people in the long-term resistance wars against foreign invaders and for national independence.
Mr. Hun Sen expressed his admiration for the achievements in economic, social and foreign affairs development that Vietnam has achieved under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by General Secretary To Lam.

President Hun Sen also expressed his belief that Vietnam will steadily develop, enter a new era for the nation, and achieve the two 100-year goals set.
Regarding the international and regional situation, the two leaders exchanged and shared views on issues of mutual concern.
General Secretary To Lam stressed that disputes need to be resolved by peaceful means, in accordance with international law and practices; promoting ASEAN's central role for peace, stability, cooperation and prosperity in the region and the world.
