Anh Tu and Dieu Nhi are a beautiful couple in Vietnamese entertainment. Although they are husband and wife, the couple rarely appear together in a project. They also always limit using their relationship and love story to attract attention from the audience.

Sharing with VTC News , Dieu Nhi affirmed that not only are she and her husband independent in work, they are also financially independent.

- The premiere of the movie "Meeting the Pregnant Sister in the North" by Anh Tu and Dieu Nhi seemed to encounter some trouble when the flight was delayed and you two didn't even have time to change your clothes and put on makeup before having to go on stage to interact with the audience?

Anh Tu : That's right, it was the most unusual thing I've ever encountered. That day, Hanoi was foggy, so many flights were canceled and delayed. We tried every way to fly to Hanoi as soon as possible in the hope of meeting the audience on time.

In the end, we only had time to move from the airport to the meeting place, still dragging our suitcases, without time to change into proper clothes. Ms. Le Giang has been in the art industry for so many years but still had to exclaim: This is the first time she has gone on the red carpet carrying a suitcase and wearing home clothes like this.

However, for me this is a very special memory, I will probably remember it for the rest of my life because there has never been such an interesting event.

Dieu Nhi: For me, the most memorable thing about that incident was the audience's support and sympathy for the entire crew. I really appreciate this, because only when the audience loves us will they sympathize and support us.

- This is the first project that Dieu Nhi and Anh Tu appear in together after getting married. Did you two “save” this movie to work together?

Anh Tu: Absolutely not. We had a very clear point of view when we started dating, which was to try to let the audience see each other's efforts in work, not to attract attention with our love story.

Actually, we are not too rigid about whether we cooperate with each other in work or not. When there is a suitable project, we are still willing to work together.

- With such independence in work and career development, are you financially independent?

Dieu Nhi: I have never thought of controlling anyone's income. I also don't like controlling anyone, I understand that everyone's work and finances are different.

- In fact, there are many people who share personal stories as a way to make the audience pay more attention to the artist and their products. But Dieu Nhi and Anh Tu rarely mention their love story, even when participating in the same project. Why is that?

Anh Tu: We feel that this direction is not suitable for us. From the beginning, Nhi and I wanted to send quality products to the audience instead of attracting attention with side stories.

Right now, we feel satisfied with what we have, especially with the love the audience has for us.

- In 2023, Dieu Nhi made a strong impression when participating in Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves. However, her name was not on the list of beautiful sisters in the group. Does this result satisfy her?

Dieu Nhi: I am completely satisfied because when I joined the program, I did not set a goal of being part of a group or achieving any award or position. I joined the program because I wanted to do things that I might not normally have the opportunity to do. I also wanted to get to know many women in the profession through the program and have more fun moments.

Honestly, I didn't have any big goals when I joined the show, but I got a very valuable result, which was receiving a lot of love from the audience.

For me, getting love from the audience is the biggest success I received after the show.

- During the time participating in "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves", how did Anh Tu support his wife?

Dieu Nhi: When I joined the program, Anh Tu was working on a movie. Because everyone's schedule is different, Anh Tu only watched the program as a normal audience member.

Anh Tu: At that time, I was in pre-production for the film, so I could only watch it when it was already on air. I felt that Nhi was loved and supported by everyone, which was great. Honestly, when I saw Nhi perform, I felt funny.

- The show "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves" has been involved in quite a few controversies: The results were not transparent, the beautiful sisters were "in conflict", the audience had mixed reactions... Did this affect your spirit of participating in the show to "have fun"?

Dieu Nhi: Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves is not the only program I have participated in recently, so I cannot receive too much side information about the program.

What I care about and experience directly is the love the beautiful women have for each other and for myself. With this, I am completely satisfied with the program.
