On the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty - 2025, as of January 22, 2025, Quang Tri province has presented 44,954 gifts to meritorious people, policy families, the poor, near-poor, social protection beneficiaries, the elderly, children in difficult circumstances, workers... and other organizations and individuals with a total cost of more than 15.8 billion VND.

Of which, the organization presented 25,537 gifts from the President to meritorious people and policy families with a gift budget of more than 7.7 billion VND.

The provincial budget allocated nearly 2 billion VND to present 3,586 gifts to social policy beneficiaries, families and people with revolutionary contributions, revolutionary veterans, pre-uprising cadres, units, individuals, families in difficult circumstances, poor and near-poor households...

The district budget allocated 167.8 million VND to give 889 gifts; the commune budget allocated 53.3 million VND to give 353 gifts to policy beneficiaries, poor and near-poor households, social protection beneficiaries, and children in special circumstances.

Socialized resources mobilized more than 5.8 billion VND to present 14,589 gifts, including: Socialized resources and other resources with the amount of 277.6 million VND to present 563 gifts to policy beneficiaries, poor and near-poor households, social protection beneficiaries, children in special circumstances, people with serious illnesses... The Labor Federation coordinated to present 400 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances with the amount of 440 million VND.

In addition, trade unions at all levels have visited, encouraged and supported union members and workers with more than 6,626 people, with a budget of more than 2 billion VND. The program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" supported more than 7,000 union members and workers with a total amount of more than 3 billion VND and organized many practical activities, contributing to material and spiritual encouragement for union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year.

In addition, all levels, sectors and localities also actively coordinate and take good care of the material and spiritual life of all classes of people, especially those with revolutionary contributions, people in difficult circumstances, single people, poor and near-poor households, people affected by natural disasters and epidemics, people in remote areas, islands, ethnic minority areas and mountainous areas, and organize the implementation of policies and regimes fully and promptly according to regulations.
