Chairman of Cu Chi Commune People's Committee Pham Kieu Hung said that Ms. Cao Thi Duc's family was in difficult circumstances, and the house had previously been degraded, affecting the family's life and activities. Therefore, the commune mobilized support from accompanying units and part of the family's own funds to repair and upgrade the house to be more spacious with a cost of about 100 million VND.
This is also a project of humanistic significance to welcome the success of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Cu Chi commune, term 2025 - 2030 and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The project demonstrates the ethics of "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude" and the concern of the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Cu Chi commune in taking care of policy families, people with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs.
According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Chi Commune, the commune always focuses on taking care of policy families. In the coming time, the commune will continue to review and mobilize funds to visit and encourage families, and at the same time repair houses for families in difficult circumstances.
