With sincere thanks for the warm, thoughtful and friendly reception that the leaders of the Party, State and people of Vietnam have given to the delegation, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia looks forward to welcoming Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife, as well as the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam to visit Ethiopia to reciprocate the hospitality and continue to promote bilateral cooperation in the coming time.
During the first visit to Vietnam by a senior Ethiopian leader since the two countries established diplomatic relations, which was also the first high-level delegation exchange between the two countries in seven years, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali held talks and meetings with the highest leaders of the Party, State, Government, and National Assembly of Vietnam; and participated in activities within the framework of the P4G Summit.

The two sides agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in areas where both sides have strengths and potential. They agreed to negotiate basic agreements and arrangements to create a favorable legal framework for economic cooperation. On this occasion, the two sides signed cooperation documents in the fields of education, training, trade, aviation, etc.
