Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel opens representative office in Ho Chi Minh City

Attending the opening ceremony were General Director of Hoa Phat Group Nguyen Viet Thang, Board of Directors of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company, Chief Representative of the Company's Office in Ho Chi Minh City Pham Thanh Hung, and representatives of the Company's partners and loyal customers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang, General Director of Hoa Phat Group said: “Hoa Phat has always paid attention to developing the Southern market. Since the Group's establishment in 1992, we have had the first spare parts store in Ho Chi Minh City. Established in February 2017, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company is the investor of the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex with a scale of 700 hectares, with a total investment capital of about 7 billion USD (including Dung Quat 1 which has been in operation since 2021 and the Dung Quat 2 project). When Dung Quat 2 is completed in September 2025, the total steel output of the Group will reach a total of 16 million tons/year, including 9 million tons of hot-rolled coil steel, meeting 100% of the demand for this product in the Vietnamese market.
