Bamboo Airways said that from August 18, the airline will officially move all domestic flights to and from Ho Chi Minh City to Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat Airport.
In the initial phase of moving to Terminal T3, Bamboo Airways flights will be checked in at counters 45-50 (opposite to gates D2 and D3) and flexibly expanded within the range from counters 43-52 according to actual output and demand.

In case of a wrong terminal, Bamboo said it will support passengers to change their tickets to the next flight for free within the first 7 days (from August 18 to August 25). The condition to enjoy this policy is that passengers must be present at Terminal T3 within 20 minutes of the departure time printed on the ticket.
Bamboo's announcement was somewhat surprising because Vietjet was previously expected to be the next airline after Vietnam Airlines to operate Terminal T3. Up to now, Vietjet's domestic flights are still operated at Terminal T1, with no plans to change.
Speaking to Dan Tri reporters, the leader of the T3 Terminal Project Management Board said that all defects that arose after the inauguration day (roof leaks, stone floor defects...) had been fixed by the contractor in July. To date, 100% of check-in counters are ready to be handed over to airlines for operation.
