"Through this incident, we hope that every student of the school and more broadly, every young person today - will reconsider their sense of personal responsibility in their behavior and speech in public. In an era where every action can be recorded and spread in just a few seconds, a culture of behavior, gratitude and respect are not only desirable, but are mandatory. Do not let a moment of anger, lack of control, trade off your personal image and cause harm to the community" , Dr. Nguyen Quoc Anh expressed.
Previously, students of Van Lang University were also accused of disrespectful behavior towards veterans when watching the parade during the April 30th celebration.
The school held an urgent meeting to handle the matter and affirmed that it did not agree with the substandard behavior of an individual, which negatively affected the positive image of the student community and did not represent Van Lang University. The school will handle the incident in accordance with the regulations and rules of student affairs of the Ministry of Education and Training.
