With the message “Donate blood - Give life”, the blood donation festival attracted a large number of volunteers including officials, civil servants, armed forces, union members, youth and people in the city to participate. At the blood donation event, blood donors were screened, had their blood tested, had their blood pressure measured, and had their health checked before donating blood; then they were also given a voluntary blood donation certificate and received gifts.

Through the voluntary blood donation festival, each individual’s compassion and responsibility towards the community and society were demonstrated; thereby, the importance of blood donation was also seen and the amount of blood stored in the blood bank was increased to serve the emergency and treatment of patients at medical facilities. At the end of the festival, the organizing committee received 335 units of blood.
