At the conference, leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade heard a specific report on the implementation status as well as difficulties and obstacles in relocating power grid works of 22 provinces and cities related to the expressway project and key projects under implementation.

In Soc Trang alone, according to the report related to Component Project 4 of the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway Construction Investment Project Phase 1, the province has 9 220kV transmission line pillars affected, 8 110kV transmission line pillars affected. Currently, the Soc Trang Provincial Land Fund Center and the People's Committees of the districts are measuring and counting these 2 lines and are in the process of announcing land recovery, approving land prices to carry out site clearance and have also been agreed by the National Power Transmission Corporation and the Southern Power Corporation to receive compensation and financial support to relocate and renovate the lines. There are 33 medium-voltage branches, 20 low-voltage branches and 3 transformer stations affected. Currently, the Soc Trang Provincial Power Company is coordinating the relocation, ensuring that the project progress is not affected.

Receiving opinions from localities, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long requested ministries and branches to continue to closely coordinate with localities to ensure the implementation of projects and works on schedule and according to the set plan.
