On the evening of April 14 and early morning of April 15, the remaining two quarter-final matches of the 2025 AFC U17 Championship took place. Indonesia U17 faced North Korea U17 and Tajikistan U17 faced South Korea U17.
Indonesia U17 has a great chance to advance to the semi-finals, when facing a not-so-strong opponent, North Korea U17. However, in this match, the representative from Northeast Asia was the team that started the match better and scored a goal to take the lead very early.

Having received three buckets of cold water, the spirit of the U17 Indonesian players almost hit rock bottom. Then in the 60th, 61st and 77th minutes, Kim Tae-Guk, Ri Kang-Rim and Pak Ju-Won scored in turn to help U17 North Korea win 6-0.

In the remaining quarter-final match between U17 Tajikistan and U17 Korea, the two teams had to enter a penalty shootout to determine the winner. In the first half, U17 Tajikistan and U17 Korea drew 0-0. However, in the second half, each team scored two goals and the match ended in a draw in regulation time. In the penalty shootout, U17 Korea showed their mettle and won 5-3.
