Vingroup Corporation was awarded the First Class Labor Medal.

Accordingly, at the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony of projects and works to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, at the inauguration point of the National Exhibition and Fair Center, General Secretary To Lam awarded the First Class Labor Medal to Vingroup Corporation.

This is a noble award, recognizing the breakthrough efforts and determination of Vingroup staff in putting the National Exhibition Fair Center into operation 15 months early, celebrating the 80th National Day on September 2 and making special contributions to the socio -economic development of the capital and the country.

Also at the inauguration point of the National Exhibition Fair Center, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to Vietnam Electricity Group, the National Power Transmission Corporation (Vietnam Electricity Group) and Mr. Dang Hoang An, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Electricity Group.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also awarded certificates of merit to 15 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

The National Exhibition and Fair Center is a key national project, ranked among the top 10 largest exhibition centers in the world. The project has a total scale of up to 900,000 m2 ^, expected to be an international destination for leading global trade and exhibition events and a new symbol of development of the capital.

The project started on August 30, 2024, and the site was handed over on June 27, 2025, after only nearly 10 months of construction, 15 months ahead of schedule. This is an unprecedentedly fast construction progress under challenging conditions of construction techniques as well as the difficulty of the giant arch structure made of super-sized and super-heavy steel.

The National Exhibition and Fair Center is expected to be an international destination for leading global trade and exhibition events and a new symbol of development for the capital.

Vingroup, as the investor and general contractor, has focused all resources, from proactively developing design plans, coordinating human resources, machinery and materials to ensuring the supply chain and connecting contractors.

During the construction period, the unit mobilized hundreds of contractors, at the peak of the project there were about 3,000 workers and engineers working; with 800 - 1,000 machines and equipment mobilized from many localities, including large-capacity cranes from 300 - 500 tons, and super-heavy vehicles.

The construction site also operates at maximum intensity, arranging 3 shifts to work non-stop 24/7, optimizing every minute to achieve outstanding progress, shortening construction time by up to 60%.

In parallel with harmoniously solving the challenges between complex design, large structural systems and completion progress, Vingroup always closely follows each item, strictly inspects and supervises to ensure the safety, quality and sustainability of the project.
