Giving gifts to pay tribute to martyrs' relatives in Cam Thuy commune

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 25, the Thanh Hoa Province Martyrs' Families Support Association coordinated with the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS), Thanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company and the Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Thuy Commune to organize a meeting and present gifts to express gratitude to martyrs' families in the commune.

Most Venerable Thich Tam Dinh, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thanh Hoa province and leaders of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in the province presented gifts to families of martyrs.

Representatives of Cam Thuy commune leaders presented gifts of gratitude to the martyrs' families.

At the gift-giving points, Venerable Thich Tam Dinh, Head of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and leaders of the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs encouraged, inquired about their health and presented 30 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND and 1 box of bird's nest to the mothers of martyrs and their relatives in Cam Thuy commune.

Most Venerable Thich Tam Dinh, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thanh Hoa province and leaders of Cam Thuy commune visited the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Giang, 98 years old - mother of martyr Pham The Lai, in Quang Trung residential group.

This is a meaningful and humane activity, demonstrating the morality and tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”, “Repaying gratitude” of the nation; deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs, those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.
