Some electronic tax systems suspended

On the afternoon of June 26, the Tax Department announced that it will temporarily suspend some electronic tax systems for upgrading to meet the requirements of rearranging tax agencies according to the two-tier local government model from July 1.

Accordingly, the Tax Department's website; Tax procedure service management application; E-commerce portal for information provision platforms will be temporarily suspended from 6:00 p.m. on June 27 to 8:00 a.m. on July 1.

Electronic information portal for households and individuals doing e-commerce and digital business; Electronic tax application (eTax); Electronic tax application for individuals (iCanhan); eTax Mobile application; Information portal for information exchange with external units and organizations.

The electronic invoice application will be temporarily suspended from 0:00 to 3:00 on July 1.

The electronic portal for foreign suppliers is still operating normally.

The Tax Department said that the tax authority will continue to receive and process tax administrative procedures directly, at the one-stop shop and via post during the process of upgrading and converting applications.

During the suspension, the system may experience service interruptions. The progress of resolving and returning results may be delayed. The tax authority sincerely apologizes and hopes to receive the understanding of taxpayers.
