On the evening of April 30, the program "Hoa Lu Brocade" took place at Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, Hoa Lu City, Ninh Binh Province to spread the image of Vietnamese ancient costumes to a large number of people and tourists.
This is a large-scale ancient costume show in Ninh Binh with the participation of professional ancient costume researchers and makers. Dozens of actors from many units also participated in the show, contributing to bringing Vietnamese costumes closer to the public at home and abroad.
"Hoa Lu Brocade" takes viewers through the heroic historical pages of the nation recreated through costumes of each period. The audience has the opportunity to see with their own eyes many unique ancient costumes such as Mo ba mo bay, Tu than, Ngu than tay tiet, Ngu than tay thong, Vua va Hoang hau, Minh Nhan Nhu nhan, Doi kham ban ti, Giao linh, Vien linh ban ti, Dieu Tinh phu nhan, Tu Khoan Can nhan, Nguyen Quan Nho, Vuong hau Tran, Dinh - Tien Le costumes...
Along with factors such as customs, festivals, etc., costumes have contributed significantly to creating the unique features of Vietnamese culture.
With each passing dynasty, the costumes are changed and improved to be suitable and contain the cultural features of that period. Nowadays, not only are they reproduced, but they are also innovated and modernized to be closer to the younger generation.
Through the performances, Vietnamese traditional costumes are recreated in the splendid space of Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area's Boat Wharf, bringing visitors back to the golden age of ancient dynasties. Not only a fashion show, "Hoa Lu Brocade" is also a vivid picture of the rich culture and history of the nation.
Extremely excited to watch the traditional costumes performed at the program, Nguyen Phuong Thao, Hoa Lu city, said that Vietnamese traditional costumes are a treasure trove with many different rich costumes, bearing the mark and identity of each period.
