Sharing the joy of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the evening of April 30, at April 16 Square (Phan Rang - Thap Cham city), the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province organized the opening ceremony of the "Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025" with the theme "Ninh Thuan - Land of Convergence of Different Values."

After the opening ceremony, people and tourists enjoyed a special art program with the participation of famous singers; admired the drone light performance, held for the first time in Ninh Thuan; and were amazed by the low-altitude fireworks display.

Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province, said that "The Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Week of Ninh Thuan province in 2025" is organized to create a strong spread among all classes of people, especially the young generation, about the patriotism of our army and people in the two resistance wars against national liberation, the historical significance of the great victory in the spring of 1975, when the country was reunited.

This is also an opportunity to motivate people to continue to compete in labor production; the young generation strives, promotes the spirit of volunteerism, follows the heroic revolutionary tradition of the previous generation, contributes, and joins hands to build a strong and prosperous Vietnam.

The event is also an opportunity for Ninh Thuan to continue to introduce and promote the image of its homeland, culture, people, landscapes, OCOP products, and cuisine of the province to domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to promoting tourism development and attracting more economic sectors to invest in the province in the coming time.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province Nguyen Van Hoa said that within the framework of the event "Week of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine of Ninh Thuan province in 2025" there will be many exciting, attractive, unique and novel activities on a large scale.

Including the Hot Air Balloon Festival; Ninh Thuan Province Open Cycling Race; Food Festival with 32 booths introducing special dishes; 30 booths displaying, introducing and selling tourism products and services, OCOP products, and typical products of the province.

“Ninh Thuan Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025” will take place until May 4./.
