On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Thanh Ha Terracotta Museum Park, Thanh Ha Terracotta Museum in collaboration with artists, painters, and sculptors of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association organized a ceramic exhibition with the theme "Journey of the Earth".

Ten years is enough time for each artist to make a journey of profound experience in life and art. And now, like a return trip, the journey of the earth marks their reunion with the material of terracotta - a rough, fierce but also affectionate material.

The direct contact between hands and clay, the inner urges and the freedom to let go in each block of clay, have created works that reflect endless creativity.

Clay has captivated 12 artists who worked tirelessly for 10 days and created 30 works. Each work expresses its own perspective, but is full of the fertile vitality of the “earth” sketch that attracts people with its metaphorical beauty.

Like the painter Lam Thanh, who returned to his village after exactly ten years, he still maintains a discreet charm in his own expressive world. His works force viewers to quietly search and contemplate, because the incomprehensibility in form always goes hand in hand with the sincerity in spirit.

The journey of the land is the companionship of people with the "terracotta ship", who have struggled, shared joys and sorrows with the land, and above all, loved the land most completely.

This exhibition is not only the result of artistic labor, but also a testament to the love, faith and unwavering loyalty to an original material, terracotta.

“Thanh Ha Terracotta Museum Park” is not only the most beautiful architectural style in Vietnam, but also becomes a place for creation of domestic and foreign artists, painters, and sculptors. This place is also a favorite place for children to explore.
