Strength from the spirit of great solidarity

According to the review, the whole province has 4,979 households in 37 communes and wards of Bac Kan province (old) that need support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025. Immediately after merging the two provinces, Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee identified this as one of the urgent tasks that need to be done immediately to ensure social security for the people.

Since the beginning of July, the entire political system of the province has been taking drastic measures to speed up the progress of supporting the construction of houses for people with revolutionary contributions and poor and near-poor households with the determination to complete before August 31, 2025.

In recent days, thousands of cadres, civil servants, armed forces soldiers and local people from northern communes have been present in villages and hamlets to support house building.

In Nam Toc village, Phong Quang commune, the construction of a new house for Mr. Tran Van Cao's family has been bustling since early morning. This is a mountainous village with difficult traffic with many steep, slippery slopes.

However, groups of people still diligently push the cart up the slope, some using rocks to block the wheels to keep balance, some pulling, some pushing, coordinating the transport of each bag of sand, brick, and block of stone to the foot of the construction site.

Commune officials, police force, militia and people took turns leveling the ground, digging the foundation, and creating a flat surface so that the house could be completed soon.

Mr. Tran Van Cao was moved: My family is in difficult circumstances, all I ever wanted was a solid house to live in. Now that the officials and people have come to help, I am very touched. Seeing everyone contributing, I feel like I have more strength to overcome difficulties in life.

It is known that in 2025, Phong Quang commune has 68 houses eligible for support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses. Thanks to the drastic participation of local authorities, 67 houses have been completed to date.

In late July, in Lung Mieng village, Hiep Luc commune, many commune officials, armed forces, militia and people were present at Mr. Luu Van Tinh's family to help level the ground, dig the foundation, and transport materials to prepare for the construction of a prefabricated house. All of them worked towards the common goal of helping Mr. Tinh's family soon have a more spacious place to live.

Present from early morning, comrade Chu Van Tinh, an officer of Hiep Luc Commune Police , shared: Helping people build houses is not only a responsibility but also a sentiment of the police force towards the people. We hope that every poor household will have a solid place to live, without worrying when storms come.

Each new house for the poor that is completed is the crystallization of the spirit of great community solidarity.

In recent days, the commune has mobilized cadres, civil servants, armed forces and people to support households in building houses. The locality has established working groups to directly visit each eligible household to help transport materials, level the ground, and create favorable conditions for construction - Secretary of the Party Committee of Hiep Luc commune Lieu Van Bay said.

The spirit of mutual love is still spreading strongly throughout the province. Many communes and wards in the southern region have proactively donated and supported the northern highland localities to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Specifically, on July 12, Quyet Thang ward donated 50 million VND to support Ngan Son commune, contributing to the timely construction of houses for poor households with housing difficulties.

The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also launched a peak emulation campaign "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" for households in 37 northern communes with the spirit of "leaving no one behind". This is not only a call but also a message of sharing, spreading the spirit of great solidarity throughout society, contributing to the effective implementation of the program with local Party committees and authorities.

In addition, Thai Nguyen province has actively mobilized social resources from businesses, organizations and individuals to support funding and construction materials to help people build new houses.

Thousands of houses have been built in the most disadvantaged areas of the province. Each newly built house not only provides the poor with a decent and solid place to live, but also clearly demonstrates the strength of the great solidarity spirit in the community.
