Market Management Team No. 4 performs market management tasks in 12 communes: Phong Tho, Dao San, Si Lo Lau, Khong Lao, Tua Sin Chai, Sin Ho, Hong Thu, Nam Tam, Pu Sam Cap, Nam Cuoi, Nam Ma and Pa Tan. Faced with the complicated situation of trading and transporting goods of unknown origin, smuggled goods, counterfeit goods and poor quality goods in many provinces and cities across the country, especially implementing Directive No. 13/CT-TTg dated May 17, 2025 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the new situation, the Team proactively develops plans and synchronously deploys professional measures. Specifically, strengthen coordination in market inspections according to regular and unscheduled plans; resolutely combat and strictly handle violations in commercial activities in the assigned management areas. Organize market surveillance activities to prevent violations, especially trading in goods of unknown origin and violating food safety; promote propaganda and dissemination of laws to businesses and consumers to raise awareness and compliance with regulations in commercial activities.
In the first 6 months of 2025 alone, the Team monitored 20 food processing establishments, focusing on milk, cooking oil and MSG products. The monitoring results showed that the establishments in the area complied with the regulations in commercial business, and no violations were detected.
Mr. Tran Xuan Dang - Captain of Market Management Team No. 4 said: During the inspection, the Team handled 17/31 cases with a total administrative fine of over 56 million VND. Mainly violations of trading, counterfeit goods, goods of unknown origin, smuggled goods, labels, unlisted prices, food safety. Accordingly, goods with a total value of over 10 million VND were confiscated. 80 packages of sausages, 3,278 packages of shampoo, 100 bags of coconut jam, 35 packages of cereal, 400 instant sausages... with a total value of over 11 million VND were destroyed.
Through market control, Market Management Team No. 4 has not allowed large-scale violations to occur, there are no smuggling spots, and no violations of counterfeit goods related to food, foodstuffs, and medicines for humans. The situation of goods trading is stable, there are no fluctuations in prices, no local shortages, speculation, hoarding, and excessive price increases. The demand for goods is fully prepared by commercial enterprises, business households, traders, and small traders, meeting the essential consumption needs of the people. This has actively contributed to stabilizing the market, protecting the rights of consumers and legitimate businesses.

Currently, people not only want to buy enough goods but also care about quality and food safety. Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Market Management Team No. 4 will continue to grasp market developments, strengthen inspection and supervision of activities related to the origin and legality of goods circulating on the market. Inspect and strictly handle acts of production and trading of counterfeit goods, banned goods, smuggled goods, poor quality goods, violations of industrial property rights and other acts of commercial fraud, especially for medical equipment and supplies. Inspect subjects trading and transporting goods in the circulation stage in compliance with the invoice and document regime... to prevent the formation of hot spots or recidivism in smuggling, commercial fraud and counterfeit goods, determined to protect consumer rights.
