On September 20, Mr. Huynh Duc Toan, Principal of the School for Gifted Arts and Sports (NT-TDTT), under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province, confirmed the above information and said that the health of the 7 students hospitalized for suspected food poisoning is temporarily stable and they can be discharged and return to school next Monday.

On September 19, many students of Vinh Long Gifted Sports and Physical Education School ate noodles at a restaurant near the school. Afterwards, 7 students showed symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea... and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Upon receiving the information, the Vinh Long Provincial Department of Health directed the Food Safety and Hygiene Department to verify the incident and take samples of the food the above students ate.

According to Mr. Toan, as of this morning, the children's health has stabilized, and the hospital is taking blood and urine samples to check the cause. After the incident, the authorities arrived to make a record of the incident and proceed to verify the suspected food poisoning case.

Mr. Toan said that most of these students eat at the school cafeteria and stay at school.
