However, Roblox 's inclusion of a creator who has been controversial for exposing children to sensitive topics has angered many users, who have taken to social media to call for the community to boycott The Hatch in response to the platform's perceived indifference to child safety.

Some players have accused Roblox of prioritizing profits over protecting users. One commenter said he has never been more frustrated with the development team than he is now.
