Present at the house of referee Tran Dinh Thinh's parents in Dinh Quan commune ( Dong Nai , formerly Phu Ngoc commune, Dinh Quan district, old Dong Nai) on the evening of August 4, Thanh Nien reporter recorded that the family was busy preparing everything for the funeral.

According to information from the family, at 7:30 p.m. the same day, the car carrying the body of referee Tran Dinh Thinh arrived at An Nhon commune (formerly Binh Dinh). It is expected that in the early morning of August 5, it will arrive in Dong Nai, the car will go to Trang Dai ward (Dong Nai, formerly Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai) for the unfortunate referee to "visit home", then the car will move towards National Highway 20 to his hometown, his biological parents' house to hold the funeral.

A delegation of officials from Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) led by Mr. Vo Van Hung - Deputy General Director of VPF was also present from the evening of August 4. The delegation worked and discussed with the family of referee Tran Dinh Thinh about the funeral organization.

Talking to Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Hung said that he was assigned as Deputy Head of the Funeral Committee. "Tonight, I and my colleagues at VPF will be here to receive the body of referee Tran Dinh Thinh and stay here during the funeral days to help his family with the funeral arrangements. The Head of the Funeral Committee is Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation, who will fly in from Hanoi tomorrow afternoon (August 5).

According to the announcement of the Referee Board of the Vietnam Football Federation, the funeral ceremony for referee Tran Dinh Thinh will take place at 9:00 a.m. on August 5; the funeral procession will take place at 2:00 p.m. on August 7 and the body will be buried at a cemetery near his home.
