Launching public administration virtual assistant on VNeID

Within the framework of the event announcing new utilities on the VneID application this afternoon, July 14, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06), Ministry of Public Security in coordination with CMC Technology and Solutions Corporation (CMC Group) launched the Public Administration Virtual Assistant.

The solution uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology integrated directly on VNeID to provide people with the ability to interact, look up and perform administrative procedures anytime, anywhere.

According to Mr. Le Minh, Technology Director of CMC Technology and Solutions Corporation (CMC TS), the main features of the public administration virtual assistant include: Looking up administrative procedures at the commune/ward and province level; detailed instructions on the process, documents and forms required for each procedure; answering questions about policies and laws related to local government organizations; warning about false information and fraud taking advantage of administrative unit arrangements.

Data used for virtual assistants is collected, classified and standardized by CMC TS from more than 1,200 public services and 28 legal documents related to decentralization, delegation and merger of administrative boundaries.

Therefore, in the first week after being put into operation, the public administration virtual assistant system recorded nearly 100,000 user interactions. Of which, the negative feedback rate was only 1.8%, meaning 98% of users appreciated the experience and usefulness that the virtual assistant brought.

CMC TS also said that in the coming time, it will expand the scope of deploying the public administrative virtual assistant to the provincial, city, ward and commune levels, so that people can access this utility.

CMC TS will also add smarter AI features so that the public administrative virtual assistant can not only answer questions but also proactively suggest related public services, remind people of their application schedules, and support people more comprehensively.

In addition to the virtual assistant, the "Administrative Handbook" utility on VNeID, with the main components: Look up addresses, commune police headquarters, commune committees, commune party committees and the "one-stop" mechanism for public administration; look up the list of administrative procedures at the commune, provincial and ministerial levels, and ministerial-level agencies; look up the history of arrangement and import and change of administrative units (old units - new units).

When searching on VneID, users must go to "Administrative Handbook", then can choose Public Administration Virtual Assistant to get answers to information related to administrative procedures.

It is known that, although it has only been in operation for a short time, the "Administrative Handbook" has reached more than 67,823 visits and uses.
