Before the spirit of Uncle Ho and the heroic martyrs, the delegation vows to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, making efforts to contribute to building the country to become more and more developed, worthy of the great sacrifices of previous generations.

Next, at a working session with the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the locality's efforts in the first 6 months of the year, and at the same time requested the province to develop with internal strength, breakthrough thinking and drastic and effective actions.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Quang Tri is a special land where more than 76,000 heroic martyrs have fallen. This is a great loss but also a spiritual support and an endogenous source of strength for the locality to overcome, become self-reliant, and turn pain into a driving force for development.

Praising the province's outstanding results, especially in administrative reform and building a two-level local government system, the Prime Minister also pointed out some shortcomings, such as industrial and construction growth not meeting expectations, weak tourism infrastructure, and inadequate communal-level staff.

The Prime Minister requested the province to urgently review the organizational structure, remove obstacles, and ensure political stability at the grassroots level. At the same time, thoroughly grasp the idea of ​​"self-reliance, self-improvement from the hands, minds, sky, and sea of ​​the homeland"; act with high determination, clearly define the people, clearly define the work, clearly define the responsibilities, clearly define the progress, and clearly define the results.

The Prime Minister noted that Quang Tri should arrange investment resources with focus and key points, avoiding spreading them out; closely following the principle of "3 yes, 2 no": beneficial to the Party, State, people and enterprises; not for personal motives, not allowing waste and corruption to occur.

Localities need to focus on implementing major resolutions on digital transformation, science and technology development, building legal institutions, protecting honest business people and promoting the private economy.

The Prime Minister especially emphasized the selection of priority investment portfolios and the removal of difficulties for key projects such as My Thuy port, Quang Tri airport, Cam Lo - Lao Bao highway, and power plants. In addition, there is the development of renewable energy, construction of multi-segment urban areas, social housing, and shared infrastructure to serve the people.

In the long term, the province needs to pay attention to developing education, health care, environment, responding to climate change and organizing Party Congresses at all levels on schedule and with quality, promoting democracy and internal solidarity.

The Prime Minister affirmed: 'If we know how to promote the spirit of creativity, dare to think, dare to do and dare to take responsibility, Quang Tri will develop quickly and sustainably, worthy of the heroic tradition and sacrifice of generations of fathers and brothers.'
