Military Region 5 hands over charity houses

Mr. Nguyen Minh Can, born in 1955, is a 3/4-class disabled veteran who participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country in Van Tuong commune. His wife is a policy beneficiary and is the child of a martyr. Due to old age and poor health, the family's economy has encountered many difficulties. The family's old house, built more than 30 years ago, has deteriorated.

Given the family's circumstances, the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command mobilized more than 30 officers, soldiers and the Van Tuong Commune Military Command to support the repair. Up to now, the house has been completed, meeting the 3 hard criteria. The total cost of building the house is 140 million VND, of which the Ministry of National Defense supported 80 million VND./.
