The 25th Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper Cross-Country Race - 2024, coordinated by the Department of Culture and Sports and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper, was successfully organized on August 3, 2024 in Vung Tau City. This is a sports event to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024); 44 years of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper Traditional Day (September 10, 1980 - September 10, 2024). The race attracted more than 3,000 athletes to participate in the distances. Athletes competed in 4 distances: 3km, 5km, 10km, 21km.
